@norgepab @hesgoneurban Just curious, did y'all prefer it before when it didn't cycle at all? The issue there was that it only showed the next train, and if that one wasn't yours, you were outta luck. (New behavior is to cycle between the next 4 arrivals.)
BOOM! @SenOssoff and @SenatorWarnock provide a press-release on the now 3(!) CorridorID intercity passenger rail planning grants they helped secure.
It is official, planning for routes from Atlanta to Savannah, Charlotte, and Nashville will move forward.

@aidannilsen The app (+ platform screens) get confused on days like this. They think it's a single-tracking day, and it is, but some Red Line trains are running south of Lindbergh on an ad-hoc basis for the events.
I am actively working on fixing this.

@cardenonwheels @AmirForATL @MidtownATL@ATLDOT This closure is a block away from me and I've cursed it many times. Reported it via @ATL311 a month or so back. Ticket was quickly closed without resolution.
Transit Job Alert! 🚨 I've been quiet lately, and there's a reason: I'm back at @MARTAtransit, building a newly-established Office of Customer Technology. Read more about what this means, plus two just-posted manager positions now open: https://t.co/M36Q9gnyxf
Speaking of which – this timeline was shared at the October board meeting:
- Q2 2024, first train in ATL for testing
- Q2 2025, first train in service!
Great update from MARTA on the #CQ400 railcars w/ detailed interior mockups/renderings, including the open gangways, wheelchair & bike areas, and rider info screens. This was such a fun project to work on – can't wait to ride one!
Our new CQ400 rail cars are being designed and constructed by Stadler in Salt Lake City. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the physical and virtual reality mockups of our future trains – and see how we’ve engaged both the public and our staff in the design process.
For this final day of early voting, we'll put in a bid for the polling location at Fulton County Govt Center at 130 Peachtree St.
It's a short walk from the Five Points MARTA Station! Transit Oriented Democracy😉
(BTW, there's an indoor waiting area, no standing in the cold.)
