Just implemented my first design in Webflow!
Working on this was quite interesting. The first challenge I had was positioning the hero image correctly. I had to reach out to a developer friend to explain how positioning works in code.
A fresh look, the same purpose.

I saw my oga's tweet @seyedele and thought to do a quick thread on talent retention.
These are practical tips that worked for me and helped maintain 90%+ retention rate over 2 years at CW.
People won't stay with you forever, but you can make them stay longer than they planned.
Trust Yourself Dept:
Get in the habit of trying (and failing) to apply what you learn about #UX, #UI, #ProductDesign and #SoftwareDevelopment โ instead of looking for a solution that perfectly mirrors your scenario.
(hint: you won't find one.)
DON'T look to other sites or apps for inspiration โ all you will find is someone else's solution to someone else's problem.
DO work to get a sense of what people are used to and expect โ but don't mimic. Use what you see as a starting point for iteration. Try something, anything. Try, test, repeat.
DONโT be afraid to get it wrong. You will, and you SHOULD.
In order to design and deliver something thatโs truly useful, usable and valuable, there is no other way.
This is an exceptional speech.
Notice how she engages the audience.
She pauses for effect, smiles, and uses the right inflection.
When the audience claps, she waits, reveling in the applause.
This is a good example of how to deliver an engaging speech.
My favorite quote from her is:
"Remember, if all you see is all you see, then you donโt see all there is to be seen."
Do watch till the end!
Great job from @CrystalAsige@OneYoungWorld
