Martha Windham

Trying to focus more on reading/writing/interests and less on politics. (TRYING. . . not always succeeding.)

“Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all”

Emily Dickinson

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@adamblust @GrampsToolshed You have to skim the first part. After all that, it gets pretty good.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@RoxanneSeubert @GrampsToolshed You are perhaps the only person on this thread I agree with. I have never been able to see the draw with that book. I do love the other two Bronte sisters' work, though.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@jarrodchristman @GrampsToolshed I liked all of them and cared a great deal about most of the characters, perhaps less so in Gatsby than the others. Wharton and Hawthorne are American treasures.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@TexasEx10 And the conversations are idiotic. The stupid exchange between Rhaenyra and Alicent, for example.

House of the Dragon Season 2

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@ASOIAFQuotesGOT This whole season has been GOT fumes -- they're hoping we'll get a whiff, see a few dragons, and love it by association.

Does Sheepstealer have vitiligo?

First look at Sheepstealer in #HouseOfTheDragon 🐉

The 15th dragon introduced in the show

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@westerosies 2. My lowest rating so far.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@cubancitizen117 @westerosies I was thinking that was the case, or maybe even Aemond.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@HOTDNewsHBO It mostly sucked. Shows like this are the reason I rarely watch series. Crappy dialogue, dithering around and wasting time, a few thrills here and there to keep you hanging around.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@westerosies I like its wings.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@westerosies LOL as if there was any contest. Season 2 of GOT was true to source material and not full of BS filler like Daemon's Harrenhall acid trip.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@Thrones_Facts There were some good parts, but there was a helluva lot of filler. The dialogue sucked and was soap opera-ish. I hung on for Rhys Ifans and the dragons.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@MsAshBash420 I will add my name to the many who have been chased by roosters and geese.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@Bozzmu @MsAshBash420 I feel you on the Anger Rooster -- they are vicious little bastards.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@westerosies Much better than last week. A solid 8.

BOYCOTT ADIDAS

STAND WITH BELLA HADID 🇵🇸♥️

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@HOTDNewsHBO 6. And it's only that high because of the Seasmoke/Addam scene.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

@Thrones_Facts No need to try to make something deep out of this scene. It was there for titillation and to bolster the weak ass plot. The only good part of this episode, nay season, was Seasmoke lovebombing Addam of Hull.

[Martha Windham @marthawindham1]

Also, how do I remove ALL politics from my feed?
