Found an Atari 800XL, my first computer at age of 9. The manual has the 1st program I ever typed into anything. Back then we had no VCR, had not yet seen an arcade. Controlling a TV screen felt like magic that is now gone from the world. Got my son to try it, didn’t hit the same.
@ocornut Yes it's possible to use Unity without a scene editor. Infact I made a whole immediate-mode fantasy console inspired framework for Unity. It's code only, no scene graph. It basically just throws vertex buffers at Unity. https://t.co/Vq55oeRXzm
I've been making exclusively pixel games for a little while, but secretly I love a simple flat shaded vector art style. I'm not much of an artist though, I'm practicing now in Affinity Designer (so good). This art style inspired by Kingdom Rush & work by @StevenColling#gamedev

@lukesturg@Jonathan_Blow Jai compiler doesn't currently have a macos version, but I believe it's coming soon.
This compiles for Linux and Windows only at the moment.
Also I don't have access to a mac, so that's a hindrance!
