@AbiolaAutos@Acyn If he had any EQ he’d know this is not something one ‘jests’ about hence the audible intake of breath my most people in the room. That ‘joke’ didn’t land.
@TonyDegods@lrnnntkn@maddenifico You don’t have to like everything someone says or thinks. I don’t agree with everything my partner thinks or says. So why on earth should anyone agree with everything a politician or TV pundit says?
Cherry-l picking stances isn’t hypocrisy. It’s called thinking for yourself.
@TonyDegods@maddenifico The problem isn’t left vs right. It’s slapping a label on someone and deciding they must fit neatly into that box. People can agree on one issue and disagree on another. That’s called being open-minded. Different stances on different things = real life.
@EHG1911@RBReich Golly … you might just need to reread the post- she’s been ‘detained since Feb’ you might want to look at your own ‘agenda’ and see why it makes you immediately jump to the wrong conclusion.
@Legendsofsport8 @davos418 @glennmunsieTAB It’s a word nothing more nothing less. It’s only offensive if you decide to make it offensive. So much horror in the world & you’re concened about a 4 letter word.
@LiveOnTheChat@sacca@tferriss My in-laws have 4 border collies, and live on a farm, these are the most gentle affectionate dogs ever, but if they see a rabbit that’s it they are off and chasing. Just their natural instinct.
@ammejo1@MarkSharon_DP@AmberMihaylova@danwootton That’s okay. Have you been to Aus. We don’t need to go ‘overseas’ on holiday - we have everything on our doorstep. Sorry to disappoint you, but there’s lots of living going on here.
@MarkSharon_DP@AmberMihaylova@danwootton I don’t know who you think is ‘living in fear’ but sorry to tell you - no fear here.Very much getting on with normal life. &Have you been to Aus? Why worry about travel when we have so much beauty on our doorstep.Makes me value what we already have. Follow rules =no fines - easy
@MarkSharon_DP@AmberMihaylova@danwootton The fearless Aussie’s are happily going about their lives, going to the pub, cinema, beach - we are very nicely getting one with our lives thank you - unlike many countries. Think I’d rather take our strategy - it’s worked well so far.
@SamuelP44848491@AmberMihaylova@danwootton You never had ‘tough restrictions’ they were completely half assed from start. And the restrictions will not be lifted until people actually adhere to the guidelines.
@JoeS619@MickeyM76533319@danwootton If liberty = hundreds of thousands of deaths, I’ll rather take this so called ‘illusion of safety’ - thank you. This illusion is working pretty well so far.
@JoeS619 @Menthelf @danwootton Because they never actually had a short strict lockdown. That’s why it’s turned into a year long event. If the governments had actually done anything that resembled a SSL then maybe they’d be having the freedoms we have right now.
@maggie_tat@nostrils7@spencermorgan93 I’m really confused - Covid hit the UK in March / April I’m sure that’s Spring. 🤔 and there has only been one winter since - or am I completely missing something here.
@sidodd2 @spencermorgan93 Sydney has a population of 5.5m. Melbourne nearly 5m. Most people live in large cities- and While Australia may be a vast country, most parts of the country are unpopulated.
@JustSteve68 @garybonejones @KP24@spencermorgan93 You need to go back to school & understand your seasons March / April is not the height of the Australian summer - that was Spring - right now is the height of the Aus summer. Most people in Aus live in major cities ie Sydney 5.5m people few m less than London.
