Really? 😔
@dalton_trigg Honestly, if I were the mavs I’d offer NY to lift its protections in 23 in return for (even a top-45 protected) second round pick in 2027 or 28. imho it’s a win-win.
@UPS 4 weeks later and my property is still in the hands of #UPS who are incapable of delivering it, returning it or telling me why it’s stuck. Apparently the case has been “escalated” since 20 April, which was 4 weeks ago. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never use UPS again.
Incredibly disappointed by @UPS and @PackLink_com - my delivery was sent from Spain 18 days ago, cleared UK #customs (= not the problem) and has since NOT been moved to its #destination in #England. Screenshot as of today. Completely ineffective customer service too. #backtodhl
@UPS my package is still not delivered by #UPS. #customer service sends me around in circles, keeps promising me that they’d “get back to me tomorrow” (and then they don’t). Then they keep asking for information I already supplied several weeks (!) ago! Horrible, horrible #experience
1/ In my early 20s, I met a young man at a local product management school in SF I had been teaching at on weekends. He approached me after class and told me he snuck into class as an unregistered student. He revealed that he was homeless and slept on a mattress in his car.
A ticket on Jeff Bezos’s space flight went for $29.7 million. It would take someone making the current minimum wage nearly 2,000 years to gross that amount. It would take a billionaire like Mark Zuckerberg less than two days. #TaxTheRich

@BleacherReport This is so sad. One risks a mild stain on the officials pants (and maybe an itch). What’s the fine? $15.000. A bit harsh maybe? The other risks paraplegia of a young man. No suspension. Fine of 0.1% of earnings. Who can seriously defend those proportions? Shame on the @NBA!
A fact is information minus emotion. An opinion is information plus experience. Ignorance is an opinion lacking information. And, stupidity is an opinion that ignores a fact.
@MatthiasWhist@NateDuncanNBA@DannyLeroux Coming from 3 months ago I’d agree. But look at his alternative options: don’t see him joining any of the other teams with cap space to play bad basketball for the next two years, even if that earns him 5m more. (Except maybe the hawks?)
@MatthiasWhist@NateDuncanNBA@DannyLeroux 60/4 but backload it (like MIA did with justice Tyler Johnson) so they can get a max salary slot in 2021 FA, e.g. 10/10/20/20 with the last year being a team option or non-guaranteed.
@mcuban 7: it’d trigger 2nd levels stars to rise up when their AS colleagues are gone for their camp, it’d eliminate tanking, rewards fans properly, gives “bad” teams a chance to play meaningful basketball...
what do you think @mcuban ? see any unintended / unwanted consequences?
@mcuban 6: giving them a chance to compete in FA and get out of the “dreaded middle”
IMHO the narrative of this would be great in so many ways: every player gets a week of mid season rest. # of games are not increased. it’d bring the league more fans from places without nba teams,
@mcuban 5: get their act together in the second half of the season and finish, say, 20th, they’d get the 5th highest odds, rewarding them for hard play.
On the other end of the spectrum, teams that just miss playoffs despite playing hard for it, get a high chances of a good pick,
