@voteheaux@_sorrengailll There's no denying that technology has had an impact on Gen Z. From personal, anecdotal experience, Gen Z are as intelligent as their forebears, just not as self-sufficient.
OTOH, Boomers and Gen-X voted against their best interests for a 2nd term & are surprised by the results.
@smalls2672 Just dropping this here since the video you posted didn't seem to give any credit to the original video author: https://t.co/86wYtu6a4W
Just making sure that credit goes where it's due.
@DungeonNoir That's astonishing. I remember when that was the big news. Based on a quick Google search, the Hale-Bopp comet that they're riding won't be back this way for 2500 years.
@ElieNYC@thenation There was a point where Mike Davis' name was being floated.
I'd easily rather have the blue light special Joker as AG than a man who gleefully chortles about putting kids in cages.
@sweetser_kyle I feel that 'moral' is one of the most subjective words in the English language and is conditional on the ideological constructs adhered to by the individual and that the majority outsource this sense of morality to leaders who capitalize on that laziness for their own interests.
Ever have one of those moments when you think back to a movie or book you enjoyed when you were younger and think, "You know what? I wonder what it would be like to adapt that into a stageplay." then discover that someone's already done it?
Me neither.

@Prissfaerie It's great fun. I watched it recently and it doesn't hold up as well as it did back in the day when I watched in on *cough* VHS *cough* but it still held up pretty well all things considered.
Damn the man. Save the Empire.
@Acyn How can some of the most wealthy and politically powerful human beings on the face of this planet claim so often that if they didn't do well or win something that the system had been rigged against them.
Live like rest of us for a year and then tell us about things being rigged.
