Canadaâs government froze their bank accounts.
A federal court later ruled it wasnât justified.
Never forget who they were.
Never forget what was done to them.
Never forget which party did it.

The reason cross-border payments are slow isnât the wire. Itâs the pre-funding requirement.
Today, banks have to park billions of dollars in dormant accounts around the world so payments can settle when needed. That capital sits idle instead of being put to work.
When settlement is guaranteed in seconds at the protocol level, that requirement largely disappears. Capital can remain productive until the moment a payment actually needs to move.
Thatâs what the Avalanche Payments Collective is building toward.
When we designed Avalanche, the goal was straightforward: build the financial infrastructure the world actually needs. A platform that institutions/enterprises could actually use, with the finality, compliance, and customization they require.
That work is showing up in who shows up.

Avalanche's TVL is growing, but remains well down from all-time highs.
On Sunday morning, @avax' total value locked was up an impressive +7% on the day, pushing the figure to some $441 million, and making $AVAX the 13th largest chain in terms of DeFi depth.
However, despite Avalanche's recent growth, TVL remains dramatically suppressed from all-time highs set in November 2021, of more than $11 BILLION.
JUST IN: The Senate has NOTHING scheduled for the CLARITY Act this week.
The bill is still waiting on a deal over new crypto ethics rules, which the White House supports but Senate Democrats have not accepted.
Once an agreement is reached, Senate leaders can file a motion to proceed and open debate ahead of a final vote.
With recess approaching, lawmakers have less than two weeks to pass the bill.
