I’ve been looking into what @vangrid_io is building, and the approach caught my attention.

Physical AI needs real-world data, but contributing to that ecosystem shouldn’t require expensive equipment or a specialized lab.

Vangrid is opening another path:

- Capture real-world data with your phone
- Submit it through the network
- Get contributions verified
- Earn when your data is accepted
With its Android app, Explorer and bounty system taking shape, participation is becoming much more accessible.
The interesting part is the bigger picture: AI doesn’t only need better models. It also needs better data from the physical world.
That’s the space @vangrid_io is trying to unlock.

One thing I learned the hard way: posts can take up to 24 hours to show up, then at least 72 hours before the score is considered reliable.

The reputation board is different too, updating once a day at 9:00 UTC.

With Season 3 ending on October 19 at 14:00 UTC, the final days matter more than they seem. There are around 40 days left, and there's no way to recover the days I missed in August.

So now I'm looking at one scored post per day and trying to account for the delays.
