It would’ve had a problem with things like Trump’s patriotic education plan, or the claims by the right that the Capitol invaders were antifa. It’s not about people on Twitter getting mad at you.

People on the internet telling you to use a word they believe to be less offensive isn’t what Orwell feared. He was scared of fascists, not liberals.

He was scared of totalitarianism and endless wars and fascism. He was also a lib left socialist. Trump would’ve scared him more than this.
