Tyler Shough has thrown 8 touchdown passes in three games, putting him on pace for 45 of them this year. Drew Brees set the Saints' franchise record with 46 back in 2011. Obvious benefit of a 17-game season but Shough's offense is third in red zone scoring, too (81.8%).
Panthers Pro Bowl CB Jaycee Horn is out indefinitely after suffering a quad injury in Sunday’s loss to the Browns, sources tell @ringer@netflixsports.
Horn is seeking a second opinion. But he’s likely to land on injured reserve and miss significant time.
Just finished Saints O vs Raiders film…
- The Saints 4th qtr heroics was the complete opposite yesterday
- To be quite honest it summarizes the whole game
- Offense played extremely well through 3 quarters, most rhythm and efficiency I’ve seen from them in both run and pass game
- 4 turnovers in the 4th Qtr… you will lose 🤷🏾♂️
- Shough was fire, Shough to Olave was fire, Shough to Juwan was fire!
- Vele had a couple plays we expect him to make that didn’t go his way yesterday
- losing Ettiene sucks, this was his best day as a Saint
- Malcom Koonce took over this game in the 4th. Big play after big play, he gave the Raiders their first 2 turnovers
- Asim had good moments but not nearly consistent enough
- Maxx Crosby is the most impactful defensive player in football right now
- Nakobe Dean was everywhere
- Saints TEs will continue to be a huge weapon for this offense, and that will open up even more when Jordyn Tyson gets back
- Very tough loss for the Saints, dropping a game we definitely should’ve had
@MikeTriplett NFL QB rules are like a Dr Seuss book
Do not hit the QB high
Do not hit the QB low
Do hit hit the QB fast
Do not hit the QB slow
You cannot hit the QB at all
If you do, you lose the ball.
Okay we're a day removed from the Week 3 loss. I'm still optimistic about the Saints for this season.
It's Year 2 of this process. The NFC South is still bad (no surprise) and you still have the best QB in the division.
Beat the Falcons and you're back on track.
One of these was ruled a fumble, the other was ruled an incomplete pass...
The problem isn't the ruling, it's the lack of consistency, clarity & accountability from NFL Officiating. The league HATES the Saints, you can't convince me otherwise.
It was a beautiful day in NOLA. The city was full of energy and enthusiasm. I don’t even mind Raiders fans having a good time and enjoying Louisiana after a win. The officiating however has added an element of professional wrestling that has beaten this @Saints fanbase down.
I’m the least conspiracy type of guy you’ll ever find…
But you’d have a hard time convincing me there isn’t some sort of agenda against the Saints.
This is some of the most obvious missed calls I’ve ever seen.
Judging by the conversations in Saints postgame locker room, they're as pissed about the opposite Jared Goff/Tyler Shough fumble rulings as you'd expect.
Being a @Saints fan takes alot out of a person and can ruin a week after a loss! Man, as good as we are, we can be so much better! That's the most frustrating part of it all! @NFL has a ref problem and clearly don't care to fix it!
Saints turned the ball over too many times to win. But some of the calls definitely changed the flow of the game. Hard to feel like it was called competently. Can’t dwell on it though. Falcons Monday night. #whodat⚜️
