UK Wholesale Gas is 38 pence a therm (year ahead).
This is down from 550 pence in February.
While your energy bills have gone up by 54%, the price of wholesale has fallen by 93%.
Daylight robbery.
In case you haven't seen it yet...
Ricky Gervaise was asked what he thought of Piers Morgan inteviewing the Taleban
He said " I've lost all respect for them "
The Conservative media complex are genuinely going to try to make Keir Starmer buying his staff a curry as a reward for working late into a bigger deal than Boris turning Number 10 into a fucking frat house for 18 months.
Shame on every damn one of us if we let them.
Turning down the lights at @fovintage in York today.
Decided to take my flash out the bag and experiment with light.
Sorry if the flashes were a bit distracting @martyn_roper!
To be clear, the coke addled, government that has sex offenders on its benches:
Have the press on side, are controlling tv broadcasters and have passed laws so they can control elections and jail us if we protest in a way that they don’t like.
Great, Britain.
Tonight, the lying, criminal Conservative government have passed the Elections Bill and Police Crime Courts and Sentencing Bill.
They’ve outlawed protest and can rig elections, taking away our voice and choice. Our freedom and democracy has been stolen by reprobates.
It’s amazing that the government has a Bill going through parliament right now that will effectively remove the independence of the commission that oversees the fairness of elections in this country, and hardly anyone, even in Westminster, is taking about it.
When they can no longer deny that he did it, they start claiming that he did it but it doesn’t matter. They have to lie to themselves before they can lie to the voters so, in the end, Johnson makes a liar of *everyone* who defends him.
It emerged on the News last night that Priti Patel had not priced the Rwandan experiment, no one has checked the legality of it, or the practicality of it, no one can say what would happen if people refused to be transported to Rwanda...
@MarinaPurkiss Same here except my family bought The Express.
Then I got a particular job age 24 and the canteen had all newspapers so I’d read them all and compare the stories over lunch.
What shocked was the rabble rousing in right wing papers but even worse, what they left out.
Labour councils are deliberately and routinely underfunded by the government.
They do this so the area blames Labour when in reality, it’s the government wilfully creating decline. I wish more people knew this.
Know your enemy. It’s the Tories.
@supertanskiii Do them and if you’re pulled up, just say;
‘you do funny things when you’re in love,’
then pretend to cry, badly,
then stand wayyy too close to a television presenter,
allow thousands to prematurely die,
A few weeks and you’ll be doing breakfast TV shows as a PR campaign.
The Rwanda deportation scheme is inhuman and illegal. So is the plan to intern refugees in U.K. camps. So is the plan to intercept boats. First shot in a 2023 election campaign: last throw of the dice to mobilise the Tories' elderly racist base as inflation starves them
It blows my mind that people are wandering around not knowing (or caring) that their taxes are going to a criminal government that are implementing Nazi policy and risking our lives with SARS for popularity.
That’s not even an overstatement.
Part 2 of Mark Makin’s life story is now live on our podcast / YouTube.
