इतने पर भी चंद्रशेखर को ले कर मैंने कोई जातिसूचक शब्द नहीं बोला, जो उक्त वीडियो में है। जब स्टेज से ब्राह्मणों की बेटियों को खींचने की बातें होती हैं और किसी SC नेता का चेला सोच-समझ कर उकसाने के लिए ऐसी बात करेगा, तो मैं चुप कैसे रहूँगा?

आज व्यक्ति अपने मौलिक अधिकारों को समझे या न समझे, वह यह अवश्य जानता है कि SC/ST एक्ट क्या है। तो मैं जब बोलता हूँ तो मुझे अपनी सीमाएँ (चाहे वह कितनी ही अनुचित क्यों न हों) पता हैं कि क्या बोलना है, क्या नहीं।

मैं जानता हूँ कि दिल्ली पुलिस के नॉर्थ अवेन्यू स्टेशन में आजाद समाज पार्टी वालों ने कितना दवाब दे कर रात के बारह बजे यह FIR लिखवाया है जो कोर्ट में दो मिनट नहीं टिकेगा। एक भी धारा ऐसी नहीं है जो होल्ड करेगी।

मैं सैनिक स्कूल का छात्र हूँ और इतनी रैगिंग झेल चुका हूँ कि मेरा मनोबल तोड़ने के लिए दिल्ली पुलिस को कस्टडी में मेरी हत्या करनी पड़ेगी, दो-चार डंडों से मेरा मनोबल नहीं टूटने वाला। और यदि मैं जीवित बच गया तो इसी स्थिति में जंतर मंतर जाऊँगा और अपने समाज से कहूँगा कि बताओ, तुम्हारी बहन और माँ को ले कर कोई ऐसी टिप्पणी करे तो क्या करोगे?

यदि ऐसा कमेंट फिर मेरे वीडियो पर आया तो मैं पुनः उसी तरीके से उत्तर दूँगा जो मैंने दिया। कानून जब तक है, संशोधन नहीं होता, मैं उसका सम्मान करूँगा और दिल्ली पुलिस के साथ पूर्ण सहयोग करूँगा। 92% ऐसे केस केवल प्रताड़ित करने के लिए होते हैं।

अंत में, सवर्ण समाज से यह पूछना चाहता हूँ कि क्या इस तरह की टिप्पणी पर मुझे सह लेनी चाहिए थी क्योंकि किसी पार्टी के लोग नाराज हो जाएँगे? क्या ब्राह्मणों की माँ और बहनें इन रेप मैंटिलिटी से संचालित गुंडों के शाब्दिक बलात्कार के लिए जन्म लेती हैं?

HURDLE 1: THE BJP HAS CHANGED.
The BJP's social coalition has changed dramatically. It cannot afford to antagonise the OBC/EBC/Dalit constituencies. All these now constitute a crucial part of its electoral base. The BJP has in fact widened caste based welfare.

HURDLE 2: T.I.N.A.
The parties most likely to benefit from a GC revolt (SP, CONG, RJD) are, in many cases, precisely the parties advocating more reservations in EVEN the private sector, caste enumeration or removal of the 50% ceiling on quotas.

THE ALTERNATIVE:
THE GENERAL CATEGORY IS POWERFUL BUT IT MUST GET ORGANISED
At roughly one-fifth of the electorate, GCs have substantial electoral influence as they vote as a bloc, particularly in several northern and central states. But they cannot, by themselves, determine the BJP's electoral strategy for the reasons stated above. SO, MOBILISE. It must form its own unalloyed nationwide outfit. Damage the incumbents by fighting the democratic/electoral fight. JANTAR MANTAR is a means to that end and not THE end.

Do not be fooled by the “If not Modi, then who?” narrative.

This is same Modi that announced the caste census shortly after the Pahalgam attack and just before Operation Sindoor, to reduce public outrage over the issue.

After the caste census, Modi could potentially bring reservation into the private sector as well. Before that happens, he needs to see the strength and unity of the Savarna community.

Then demand change armed with full data.
Publish a quarterly report and talk to citizens.
Now you have data on your side and citizens will respect you for your work. You will know which state is behind.
Understand the scale of the issue. India’s school system has around 18 lakh schools, 24 cr children upto class 12, 1.3 cr faculty and staff, 50% children in govt schools and declining.

The Congress Government in Karnataka has officially launched a war against our parks and green spaces by amending the Karnataka Government Parks (Preservation) Act, 1975, to allow the sale or lease of public parks - aimed at taking 5% of Lalbagh’s land for the tunnel road.

The Cabinet’s decision is foolish and is clearly intended to facilitate real estate development across parks in the state. This must be opposed tooth and nail.

We had opposed the tunnel road in court on the same legal ground - that it violates the Karnataka Parks (Preservation) Act. Now, to circumvent the court proceedings, the state government has come up with this amendment bill.

I am writing to CM @DKShivakumar, Bengaluru Development Minister @krishnabgowda, LoP @RAshokaBJP, and all MLAs of Karnataka to oppose this decision.

1. No, you don't require any amendment to remove castes from OBC list. It's perfectly within the state govt's power to remove a caste after showing it's non-backwarnesss or over-representation. Very very easy.

2. Subcategorization decision is already given by SC. Doesn't require any amendment. Again perfectly within the rights of each state commission.

3. Revising the criteria for reservation-Doesn't require any amendment (commissions can do it easily)

4. Proper implementation of reservation, stopping it's misuse, sticking to 50% limit, including GCs in state benefits-DON'T REQUIRE AMENDMENTS.

I work with an organization which is fighting legal cases in Court for 15+ years. We know about Constitution and laws better than you.

BTW, facts and data require noting down and reading.
