100,000! CRAZY! Thank you everyone for playing. It means the world to me that I have the support to continue making games full time off of my first game on steam. It’s a dream to reach this large of a number, and you all made it happen in 5 days. Couldn’t be more grateful.
This solo indie dev spent 10 years making an RPG game that looks 3D… but is actually 2D.
- Camera shifts from orthographic to perspective views
- Depth is simulated using parallax & warped sprites
- Hand-painted semi-open world
Would you play this? It’s called Bridgebourn.
Might be a skill issue on my side, but: I find game design is much harder than programming... Like 10x harder. It's easy on a "surface level" but gets impossibly hard very quickly.
