So random. I’ve come to realize how so much has changed. How our tastes change over the years, how our views become different, how our interests change. Let us not allow our past define us, but use it to make ourself better now, and for the future. ❤️✌🏻

D: Whether they (Fans) come from Seoul, or from Gwangju, or from Thailand, or South America, they spend that time to see this one performance.
They're investing that time. Buying that ticket is exchanging it for an experience with me.
They're spending that money to gain happiness. The money they worked hard to earn, they're exchanging it for an experience.
Booking hotels and everything, thinking about all of those things, They spend hundreds of dollars to watch this performance, to buy their happiness.
If we go out there and do a terrible job, no matter how much they're fans, they'll be disappointed, they will be disappointed.
Accidents may happen, even though we should prevent them, but the way we can make people feel better is by working harder ourselves.
Even on stage, if anyone can see
that it's a mistake, and you're moving lazily, saying, "Let's take it easy because we're older," "Because we're older," "let's just take it easy today," I really think that makes no sense. I think people like that shouldn't be performing at all.
In the end, being sincere, and doing your absolute best on stage, that's what creates the emotional impact.
Ohh this is the video version from SS1.
Hyuk also didn't really remember at that time. Heechul showed him this video in the car on their way to the venue during the tour.
And there we got the live performance in encore with superb movement and blocking 👏🏻👏🏻

E:
About the encore, the first thing I worried about was the overall flow.
Of course I wanted to change it, but the members were already very satisfied with the original flow.
There were also parts they wanted to keep.
Since we didn’t have much time to prepare, we decided to make changes mainly through the concept instead.
That way, we wouldn’t need to do too many additional rehearsals.
So we chose the vampire concept that everyone had been talking about for a long time.
Even just the opening part already gives off a completely new feeling.
This time, the team really put a lot of thought into the performance.
As for the VCRs, Shindong hyung is really amazing and so smart.
He managed to film all the VCRs within a single day,
so the members only needed to set aside one day for it.
The members are all really busy,
so there weren’t many chances for everyone to practice together as a full group.
We really put a lot of effort into the 360-degree stage, because every side becomes the front.
With the movements, transitions, and even the back side of the stage, since it’s 360 degrees, this time you’ll be able to see many sides of us that you normally couldn’t see before.
But I feel like we probably won’t do a 360-degree stage again next time.
This one was kind of like a special gift.
Doing a 360-degree setup for a tour would be really demanding, and the stage production itself isn’t easy either.
“When will we have another tour again?”
Even just gathering together is difficult now, since also has sub-units and individual solo activities.
And honestly, this is probably the time when I need some rest.
I’ve continuously been doing D&E, solo activities, and Super Junior schedules without really stopping.
While working, I don’t really feel how tired I am when I’m standing on stage. Maybe that’s why after the encore ended, I ended up catching a cold.
But I also have a program in Taiwan right now, and that show is really exhausting too.
Actually, when it comes to variety shows, I haven’t been appearing on them that much these past few years. I wanted to focus more on my main profession instead. Because sometimes you end up with an image you don’t really want, and there’s also this pressure that you always have to be funny. So I felt that it’s enough for me to stand on stage and meet everyone.
The transition part before “갈증 (A Man in Love)” during the encore
was actually Heechul Hyung suggestion.
We talked about it while traveling for a schedule and Heechul-hyung said he really loves the intro music of “갈증.”
Then he went and found the intro music and videos from SS1 / SS2,
and said, “You guys should just use this music.”
Since it was a 360-degree stage, we also wanted to create a performance that could be viewed from different directions.
Because we didn’t have much practice time, we decided to have the main dance trio, Shindong, Eunhyuk, and Donghae, perform it together with the dancers.
Personally, I was really satisfied with that part.
The unfortunate thing is that on Day 1, the timing of the lift platform was off, so we ended up dancing a little less than planned.
For the sub-unit stages, the 83z part was something we worried over a lot.
Since Heechul hyung was the only one left, I carefully suggested that he do it together with Teuk hyung. The fans have also really wanted to see this for a long time.
The fans had also really wanted to see it for a long time.
It worked well both as a preview of 83z and as a way to show a sense of unity during the concert.
The final decision was really up to Heechul hyung though.
Honestly, he could’ve just done a solo stage too. But in the end, the response was really good and everyone was very happy.

🦚: I need to undergo a cosmetic procedure, but I’m really scared. I truly hate those injection needles.
But they say that if I do it, my face will improve like this and that… Since my chin is naturally short, if I go and get a little filler in my chin to make it project forward, my jawline will be lifted a bit.
Because my chin is short to begin with this area… but oh my, I’m really so scared.
🦚: I talked with Hyukjae and Donghae this time. I told them, “Hey Donghae, aren’t you overdoing your workouts? Can’t you lower the weights a bit?” But I recently realized that Donghae is also addicted to exercising. They say exercise can be addictive, but honestly, I don’t feel that at all.
Seriously, if I ever did a workout livestream on YouTube, I would definitely get a violation right away because I’d be cursing the whole time from how exhausted I’d be!
It’s so exhausting… I really don’t understand how people can say, “Ah, this feels so good! It’s so enjoyable!” while exercising. I just can’t understand Donghae at all when it comes to this.
🦚: We only have two weeks left, so we’re currently practicing. But honestly, it’s not easy at all—every member has injuries in one or two places.
Donghae has back pain, Shindong has knee problems, and Yesung also has back issues.
As for me, I have problems with my ankle, and I now have a herniated disc in my neck.
🦚: I was practicing dancing, which is normal since I’m a singer, but honestly… I’ve put in so much effort into taking care of myself that I ended up exhausted before coming out to see you all.
Because some ELF said: “Oppa, we don’t care about anything else, we just love your face,” I found that really sweet. So instead of thinking about what fans might like, I told myself: “At least, let’s avoid what they don’t like.”
I found out that they don’t like long hair. Personally, I like long hair because I’m too lazy to go to the barber, and I like tying it up because it’s comfortable. But since they don’t like it, I decided to cut it.
As for signs of aging… those are all excuses. Look at Yesung, who is one year younger than me, or Leeteuk, who is the same age as me—both of them look so handsome and fit. Even though our body types and eating habits are different, there is still a basic level of care I can do.
So I decided to do my best; I started working out even though I really hate exercise. But since we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary, I felt I should appear in a decent way in front of the fans who have waited so long, as if I’m asking for their forgiveness through this effort.
I think if I show up looking handsome and good, the ELF who have drifted away a little might say: “Oh, look at him—he really put in the effort!”
International fans are probably not aware of the extent of this scandal because it’s not being covered here, and honestly, not a ton in Korea either but I’ll give you a short rundown
