Year 4 had a wonderful trip visiting the animals at Port Lympne Safari Park. They have been learning about endangered species and animal conservation as part of their Eco-Warriors topic.

Thank you to everybody who helped make our International Summer Fair such an enjoyable experience. It was such a lovely atmosphere with the children and their families celebrating where they are from. It is events like these that makes us proud to be part of Marvels Lane School.

🕷MINIBEAST WORKSHOP🐌
Nursery, Reception and Year 1 enjoyed learning about so many amazing minibeasts. The children were able to hold, touch and feel different minibeasts from around the world. The staff were also able to overcome their own creepy crawly fears!

👑Happy Coronation Day! We had great fun commemorating the day. There were flags, crowns and delicious biscuits - fit for a king! 👑

🔥YEAR 2 - THE GREAT FIRE OF LONDON🔥

Year 2 have been learning about the Great Fire of London. We created houses from the 17th century and re-enacted the Great Fire in the playground.

🔥RECEPTION - FIRE ENGINE VISIT🔥

The Reception children were very excited to meet real fire fighters! They enjoyed learning about the different parts of a fire engine, the various equipment they need to use and what to do in an emergency if there is a fire.

We arrived safely at the PGL Centre this afternoon. The children met our Group Leader for the week Lara. She took us on a tour of the centre and all the activities before we headed to dinner.

YEAR 4 - TRIP TO THE SCIENCE MUSEUM

Year 4 had a great day at the science museum. They enjoyed looking at different technology and how it had developed from the Industrial Revolution to the present day.
