Hello🫶🏻
A FEW WORDS ABOUT WHO I AM, WHY AND WHY I NEED TO RUN MY FUNDS COLLECTION.
✍🏻
I've recently been followed by a few new people. Many of you have known me for several years, but I'd like to introduce myself to those who are new here.
My name is Joanna. I am an unsinkable 1990 vintage (apparently one of the best wine vintages in the last 100 years!).
I started my private Twitter account in February 2022 to quickly deliver reliable information from Ukraine to my friends in distant countries and overcome the barrier of disinformation. I was driven by a heartfelt need, as the country of many of my close friends was attacked without reason, and I wanted to help them.
Initially, I started helping my friends who were returning to their homeland and needed equipment. These were small donations for a few pairs of shoes, backpacks, flashlights—the basics. Over time, my work gained momentum, and we created Project 688, thanks to which we were able to save lives on a large scale. Our main goal was to reduce mortality on the battlefield. We equipped medics, provided personal medical equipment for lifesaving, such as tourniquets, and purchased safety equipment, such as thermal imaging. Every life saved in a senseless, brutal war is a treasure.
We also responded to many emergency needs, such as pontoons for rescuers after the flood resulting from the breach of the Kherson dam.
There is no better gift for your own soul than saving another person.
I enjoyed good health, was fulfilling my professional life, and was doing something I considered important to the world. In good times, one doesn't dwell on the disasters that might befall them, so I invested much of my personal wealth in helping others. Unfortunately, this was treacherous...
When you're doing charity work during wartime, you think you're immortal. You ignore the stress and fatigue, and focus on your priorities.
I ignored the symptoms of worsening health, the doctors' warnings about things to check. Until one day, the doctor struck like a bolt from the blue: suspected cancer.
Thus began my own war.
A story of my failures and small victories. My private life toppled like dominoes. One bad news after another.
My mental state deteriorated, culminating in a s**cide attempt. If it weren't for the response of extraordinary people... this story would have ended there.
But no. I have amazing friends around.
They lifted me up from the very bottom and gave me encouragement.
My fight began. During this time, I underwent five major surgeries. Dozens of chemotherapy treatments. I received over 1,000 injections (and counting). I underwent several blood transfusions. I learned that the cancer had metastasized. I experienced horrific complications. My soul, body, and spirit were devastated.
Every day, I lose and regain hope. My strength and motivation are my little treasures. Young children don't deserve to see their mother in such terrible shape and not be able to experience important moments with her. So I fight. But the fight is getting harder and harder. I've sold everything I could, even my exotic plant collection, a family heirloom, and a beloved painting. I have no other options. I can't pay for everything myself. I need help paying for doctor's visits, medications, rehabilitation, and bills. Yes, I have insurance, but unfortunately it doesn't cover everything.
If you've made it this far, please consider donating a few pennies to my collection. And help me fight. Just a little longer. I promise that when I recover, I will repay this debt by saving lives again.
My appearance may change but my heart is still the same inside. The same Joanna.
Thank you.♥️

@JoaJuan2 Your reaction isn’t hysterical. Your reaction is human. You put your trust in all of us, gave us your life story, and some abused that. There will always be people who will question, but it is totally wrong for them to criticize when they don’t know all of your situation.
