@OldeWorldOrder They propose to redistribute it *to themselves.*
Just wrote a thread on how rich privileged communists are not hypocrites, they're the norm.
9/ So they choose communism, which, when implemented, allows them to seize wealth from people they are envious of and create a new status hierarchy based on one's favor with the party.
It has always been this way.
Hasan Piker is not a hypocrite.
Neither is AOC, neither is Bernie, and neither is El-Sayed.
They are the genuine article.
Commies. People who, rather than push themselves and rise as far as their abilities and drive will take them, choose the civilization-destroying shortcut of an ideology based on envy and theft.
Recognize them for what they are. All their talk about helping the common people is a smokescreen. It always has been.
Communism IS elitism, a thread.
1/ I see a lot of people on here criticizing Hasan Piker and his ilk for living luxury one percent lifestyles.
The criticism is usually something like 'Look at these hypocrites talking about communism while living like elites!' It hinges on the idea that communism has a pure and noble aim, and for communist proponents and activists to live like rich rock stars is a demonstration of their insincerity and failure to live up to that aim.
This is a false notion, and it plays into the 'real communism has never been tried' trope that these same people are so fond of.
8/ Communists consider themselves to be the intellectual elites, who chuckle at you for suggesting that communism is a disaster. It naturally follows that they believe that they should be richly rewarded for their roles as saviors and luminaries of the new order.
They push communism because it is the only way that they can achieve this wealth and status.
They either cannot or will not work hard and figure out a way to build wealth or rise in the status hierarchy the natural way, which requires effort, patience, and sometimes the acceptance of one's own limits.
@I_Am_BJC Their sales pitch is always to talk to us like we're children.
'Look at how much stuff that guy has. Doesn't that make you mad? I bet you wish you had more stuff.'
