we have to allow people to be themselves. especially if we plan on loving them. we should never limit anyone to our ideals & expectations of them. real love is acceptance without judgement. real love is freedom. don’t give up on people because they see and feel things differently
there's a love waiting for us all. patient with our timing. rooting for our growth. ready to arrive, after we've done the work. after we've committed to ourselves. after we've put us first. there's a love waiting to show up for us, ready to give; when we show up ready to receive.
Rest easy knowing you are covered in God’s peace & protection. Don’t let today’s worries try to overtake tomorrow’s joy that come with new mercies.
Try to be a doer in a world full of talkers. Try to eliminate complaining about what you want and try to just control what you can to make what you want happen. This is how I live my life
I am learning to be more confident in speaking Spanish, learning to take better care of my temple, learning to understand the ways in which I participate in the problem. Graciously, I accept my imperfections & that is key to making me feel I’m living perfectly to my own standards
I have grown to realize that the most important lesson to learn is that I am graciously imperfect & I am open to learning how to be better in all things that make me insecure.
But, believe it or not all of those moments serve their purpose. Open you up to have conversations you may not have had otherwise. Help you grow together 🌱 Help you see more clearly ❤️ Help you become compassionate, understanding, and a better woman
Best advice I can give young ladies, the foolish motherfucker that pins you up against your mama AINT WORTH IT. He may leave, and she’ll always stay...forgiving your dumb butt for fighting with her about him 😂 because she’s been there, done that, too.
I was having a conversation about the journey through womanhood with another woman yesterday, she said “I knew something was wrong when I fought w/ my mom over a guy. She’s my best friend” I felt some real compassion for her regret in that moment, I been there and done just that
When your little cousin hits you with that YAASSS BITCH & she’s now 15 yrs old so you can’t even correct her profanity... because bitch you stay calling your homegirls bitch, so bitch byyeee #babiesgrowup
