Dariush loved singing and had shared recordings of verses from the Shahnameh in his local dialect on Instagram.

اگر می‌خواهید عمق سقوط ارزش پول ایران را بفهمید، فقط به تعداد صفرهای اسکناس نگاه نکنید؛ قدرت خرید را مقایسه کنید.

در اواخر دوران شاه فقید و قبل از شورش ۵۷ ، هر دلار حدود ۷ تومان رسمی و نزدیک ۱۰ تومان در بازار بود. یعنی ۱۰ دلار تقریباً ۷۰ تا ۱۰۰ تومان می‌شد. با حدود ۱۰۰ تومان می‌شد چیزی نزدیک به ۱۰۰ لیتر بنزین خرید و چندین کیلو مواد غذایی مانند گوشت و مرغ تهیه کرد.!!

امروز همان ۱۰ دلار بیشتر از ۲ میلیون تومان ارزش دارد، اما این میلیون‌ها تومان قدرت خرید فوق‌العاده‌ای ایجاد نمی‌کند؛ برای بعضی اقلام اساسی حتی ممکن است فقط هزینه کمتر از یک کیلو مواد غذایی باشد.

پس مسئله فقط این نیست که دلار از حدود ۱۰ تومان به نزدیک ۲۰۰ هزار تومان رسیده؛ مسئله این است که در این چند دهه، ریال بخش عظیمی از ارزش خارجی خود را از دست داده و تورم مزمن، رشد نقدینگی، کسری بودجه، تحریم و بی‌ثباتی اقتصادی قدرت خرید مردم را نیز فرسوده کرده است.

تفاوت میان آن روز و امروز را شاید بتوان در یک جمله خلاصه کرد:

زمان شاهد فقید ۱۰۰ تومان پول بود؛
دوران حکومت جمهوری اسلامی حتی ۱۰۰ هزار تومان هم برای بسیاری از خریدهای روزمره رقم بزرگی محسوب نمی‌شود.

🚨 Hossein Mehrangiz, a young Kurd from Esfarayen, was arrested without warrant on 9 January 2026 during the protests. Held incommunicado, denied a lawyer and family contact. State media aired his forced confession.

He is one of nine in the Esfarayen case before the Revolutionary Court in Bojnurd. Charges that can carry the death penalty hang over the group. After more than six months he remains at serious risk.

Iran has already executed dozens linked to the 2026 protests after unfair trials built on coerced confessions.

This regime must fall to stop this.
