I need help! My son Griffin Wallace Higgs was diagnosed with cancer at 18. He died in Nov 2025. He was 28. In addition to arranging his funeral, closing his bank accounts, transferring his assets, cancelling his cell phone and myriad other tasks no parent should have to think about I have been trying to deal with @Ticketmaster to get the @foofighters tickets he purchased months ago. I have the order number for the 4 tickets he purchased. I have a letter from a lawyer saying I’m his next of kin. Ticketmaster refuses to access the tickets. They are essentially stealing from his estate. If the bank withheld his account and money it would be fraud. @Ticketmaster told me to get a lawyer. This cannot be the process. This cannot be just. Someone please help. All that remains now is for his brothers to enjoy this concert at @Rogers_Stadium leaving his seat empty in his honour. Someone? Anyone? Has anyone had to deal with this insanity while grieving? @CBCCanada
#BREAKING: Legendary #Maddow: “It was supposed to open Friday, it is not open because Trump says he does not want it open. When this bridge does open some day, if Trump ever lets it open, you should know that there is a competing bridge a little way down the river, a privately-owned very old very congested toll bridge that will likely LOSE some of its traffic…because of competition. It will lose some of its traffic to this pretty, brand new bridge that has just been built. The family that operates the competing old bridge, earlier this year, made a $1 million donation to Donald Trump’s super pac. In short order, a member of that family then got an in person meeting with Trump’s Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. The White House and the pac say that was just a coincidence…but after the million dollar donation, he gets this meeting, and then the SAME day of the meeting, Howard Lutnick calls President Donald Trump and then Trump suddenly discovers new supposedly trade-related reasons why he’s now suddenly against this bridge, even though previously he has been for it.” 🤦♀️
@cityoftoronto just heard what sounded like firearms, turned and watched this massive tree branch come crashing down at Suydam Park.
Thankfully no one was standing under it at the time. A woman and her dog were playing there moments earlier. Please send clean-up asap
A 7 year old girl was sunbathing in front of her home when a car stopped and the driver asked if she wanted a bicycle.
She immediately recognized the danger and ran inside the house.
Retweeting on behalf of my wife Leslie who teaches in the Toronto District School Board (@tdsb) at a downtown model school.
She is experiencing these cuts first hand through teachers in her school being put on the chopping block.
This removal of funding will change her school from having ~25 high needs students in a class ... to 30-35.
Premier Ford (@fordnation) and TDSB Supervisor Rohit Gupta:
Please reverse this decades-old initiative to support our most vulnerable students with greatest need.

@canadapostcorp Is there anything that can be done so we can continue to get home delivery. After this winter and feeling very housebound because of all snow and having accessibility issues just not doable. Has anyone considered seniors and people with accessibilities ?
BREAKING: The Ford government just voted to fast-track a law that would permanently shield Doug Ford’s phone records from the public, keeping you in the dark about how your tax dollars are being used.
Watch this video where I break it down.
An NDP Freedom of Information (FOI) request revealed that the Ford government spent $1,737,051.59 (pre-tax) on the Ontario Place ads between January 1 through November 18, last year. The government had refused to disclose the amount when asked by Global News last November.
Tina Yazdani found Sylvia Jones giving “unprecedented” public money to private hospitals & clinics: funding up 300%. Ontarians paying more for surgeries at Don Mills (DM) surgical clinic. Cataract surgery costs avg $500 at public hospital vs. $1,200 at DM.
"Negligence or incompetence?"
The Ford faced criticism after Global News revealed provincial jails have accidentally released 150 inmates since 2021
It's an issue the Solicitor Generals office has been well briefed on.
