@MrsPA_C Are you breastfeeding? Toradol is contraindicated in breastfeeding. It’s generally fine when the patient is only making colostrum, but the patient shouldn’t be on it anymore once their letdown occurs, so a lot of times we try to switch them to ibuprofen before letdown.

@doclauravater Especially depending upon context. When a new wellness yoga program is announced shortly after someone completes a suicide, it can feel like the implicit message is that the person would still be alive if they had merely done more yoga. (Example not based upon any one real event)

@olsonplanner That’s a huge deal and something you need to plan for. I knew that right away when they were talking about it despite having never filed a tax return before, but most of my classmates didn’t. That kind of poor education is worse than unhelpful, it’s actually harmful.

@olsonplanner They barely mentioned that the amount forgiven under PAYE or REPAYE is taxable income in the year forgiven. If it’s $100,000 forgiven at the marginal tax rate many physicians are at, we’re talking $35,000 in additional federal income tax that year.

@doclauravater Per ACGME rules: “Types of work from home that must be counted include using an electronic health record.” If you are required to count charting hours done at home, then you absolutely must count hours spent charting in the hospital.
