Students participated in a mini shop activity. Using a mitre box, saw, and jinks wood, Ss learned how wood is cut at different angles to create various structures. Our focus:measuring and cutting pieces to build a fence! Students were thrilled to see the outcome! #ScienceMatters
Students followed a procedure to create these cinquain poems.. First they interviewed a friend, made up adjectives and verbs to describe that friend and finally wrote a friendship cinquain! #friendsingrade3#werock!

Grocery Addition.... today the Students worked on addition with a twist.... they went shopping in class using grocery flyers, picked 3 items and learned how to add 3 addends to find the total cost! Independent hands on fun in math! #dollarsumup

Students played the math game called Leap Frog from Catherine Fosnot. Objective of the game is to “leap” in tens from different numbers. Students enjoyed this so much! #learninginleapsandbounds
