There has been no invitation to meet with Gov Stitt and there is no meeting scheduled. That Gov Stitt thinks he can command tribal leaders to his office by simply declaring it on live television speaks volumes of why has had been a failure at state / tribal relations.
It doesn’t have to be like this.
It doesn’t have to be like this.
It doesn’t have to be like this.
It doesn’t have to be like this.
IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS.
Pray for Tulsa.
And fight like hell for change.
After a two days of hot takes about Uvalde, where I've lived for 13 years, here's a thread for very online people who actually want to understand it and maybe change it and places like it. This will be based on my own experiences; my excuse is that I'm autistic. Thread:
@DGoforth918 He absolutely believes in this shit. If you've ever heard him speak to a group of people (not in front of cameras), then you'd know that QAnon is his jaaaaam.
@DGoforth918 Just because he likes to be in front of a camera doesn't mean he is smart. He's done tremendously awful things for Tulsa County, and he's one of the least intelligent politicians I've ever met... and I'm met some dummies.
@secretagentkay@LaaaurenT@shagsss Also from the article: “Sometimes I have a client that only wants and needs their abuser to be taken away by police and locked up in jail. They need immediate safety and separation, and with all the tools in their toolbox, the only thing left is police intervention.”
@secretagentkay@LaaaurenT@shagsss The article states that some survivors DO want their abuser to go to jail. “Most importantly, some survivors want their abusers locked up — clean and simple. We’re a survivor-led movement, so that’s the most legitimate reason to have justice-involved options for survivors.”
I sprinted down the block to find out what the cloud I was seeing at Greenwood and Archer was worried it was tear gas but it ended up being dudes burning rubber
“That’s them hellcats, that’s them hellcats” a dad told his son on his shoulders watching the dudes peel out
