Last Thursday at the state fair we held our state tractor driving contest! We would like to congratulate all our members that competed last Thursday! We also would like to wish Patrick good luck as he competes in the tractor driving contest at The Big E!

Last Thursday the Maryland FFA State Officers and our Alumni President, Mr. Linthicum, attended the Commodity Classic in Queen Anne’s County. We also met our first round of members from the Queen Anne’s County FFA Chapter! Thank you for the invitation to this great event!

Last week, our team was honored to attend the governor’s “Buy Local” picnic at the Maryland Department of Agriculture in Annapolis. We talked to individuals from different organizations, and ate great local food! Thank you Governor Hogan for the invitation and years of service.

The ribbon cutting of the new Sabillasville Environmental School! I loved having the opportunity to attend and see all the hard work put into the opening. Myself and community members brought animals for a petting zoo, and we heard great music and enjoyed snacks together!-Kendall

We explored several memorials, We ended with a amazing speech from Tom Vilsack, all the way from the President’s Cabinet, serving as our Secretary of Agriculture. Without FFA members optimism, change cannot be made. #ffa
