We lost power yesterday because of trees falling in February's storm. Will we lose power again today, because of trees that cannot withstand wind?

Probably not. It's just after noon, Thurs 11/5. The wind advisory for 45 mph gusts ends at 3 PM.

We lost power again, Wed 11/3. Money is still being spent on last February's tree failures, which could not withstand freezing rain. Wednesday replaced another, fifth power pole, #5 from last February's event.

6 police vehicles cornered a gray hatchback here, 2041 Marylhurst Drive, on Tuesday Oct 12. At least one perp was cuffed and taken away; car was towed. Officers ignored neighbors query for info. No info is in media anywhere today 10/14. Care to comment, WLPD?

Asplundh returned Saturday the 9th, trimming Highway 43 trees. They had another look at our sign, and, sadly, said no free loading for us. Why?
1) too steep to raise their boom
2) too steep to raise their dump bed
3) too busy. Law requires traffic flaggers.

Dead areas of turf or grass may indicate Japanese beetle grubs presence.
In the summer, Japanese beetle adults feed on leaves, fruits or flowers. They love roses!
