@PGH_USMNT I think it’s time to see ballistic exactly as he is, which is someone who is not physically capable of playing a 90 minute game at a World class level. He would make a great off the bench player though.
@LangmanVince No, the sports commentators don’t owe anyone an apology, Pulisic is bench player. He’s too weak to play 90 minutes at a World class level.
@nypost The Pulisic issue isn’t even about Pulisic. It’s on Pochettino & US Soccer. If your star can’t realistically give you 90 mins, manage him accordingly. Bring him on for the final 30 mins when he can make the biggest impact instead of expecting something he can’t consistently give.
The criticism of Pulisic is not due to one interviews. It's a series of things.
1. Skipping the Gold Cup to "rest"
2. Being arrogant when criticized about it. "I'll just score a goal and everything will be fine"
3. Underperforming for the last 2 years
4. Playing hero ball too much & too often
5. Disappearing in big, high-pressure moments
@USMNT@ussoccer How exactly and when did this injury happen in the game? If you’re going to post this be more specific? And why didn’t the US medical staff take him out and put a healthy player on the field?!?!?!
