Back - in moderation. Trying to find the whimsy and theatre-y and to avoid negativity and hate that this platform has in growing abundance. “If you’ve nothing nice to say then say nothing at all” is an adage many could remember online. Thank you to those who’ve reached out 🤗
Binge watched #tiptoe

@mcclearly_james@dannjohn Agree with this. You had hope. You knew it was futile because you’ve already seen how it ends but for just that moment you had an ending from the noughties
Being part of a generation that was told “Wikipedia is not a source” makes it genuinely baffling to me that jobs are now telling people to just use ChatGPT for everything.
@mwahwolfe@sanktademon I do think it would be a great idea to have it online to show interest in it from people around the world and boost views especially if it is up for awards next season. Yellow Bucket from the same BFI show is online now as was A Friend of Dorothy before this year’s Oscars
@mwahwolfe@sanktademon It is. Some seem to want to be fed immediately + can’t seem to grasp this is a 13 min independent short trying to gain traction on festival circuit. It won’t have a cinema run. Hopefully it will eventually be available on line🤞Until then hope can keep spoiler free/private
@mwahwolfe@sanktademon Yes we offered to talk plot etc in DMs + no direct spoilers given but after this showing I’ve seen audio and spoilers posts. If creators wanted the music out there they’d post some on socials. The fandom has a bad rap already for bootlegs since HT and this hasn’t helped at all
@sanktademon@mwahwolfe Completely! Audios that go round via dm and few folk keep quiet are very different to posting. People need to get a grip and support the arts especially new, independent work
If I had a penny for every queer story I saw this year where the protagonists were caught at night at the beach by a guy with a light and then shamed I’d have 2p by now
