Luckily, I own the entire series on DVD. First up will be the musical episode, Once More with Feeling. And this one is on the list. Back in the day, I watched as much for Giles as I did for Buffy. (And I'm old enough to remember the coffee commercials.)

In memoriam, I rewatched the Buffy episode, "Band Candy", and Head's performance really is extraordinary. He's playing a middle-aged man suddenly forced - by magic - to behave like a teenager, and COMPLETELY sells that ridiculous premise, while making none of the obvious choices.

Did you know that the first women to land on the Normandy beachhead in June 1944 were nurses of Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Nursing Service?

Their task was to establish a field hospital for 600 wounded soldiers.

Really good news. Over the last 15 years the world gained more mangroves than it has lost, thanks to stronger legal protections following the 2004 tsunami which proved their importance in protecting coasts. Also vital for fish and in absorbing carbon.

I think one of the healthiest things a person can do is become easy to delight. To still stop for weird clouds and dogs wearing bandanas and the smell of garlic cooking somewhere down the street. The world already has enough cynicism. Be the person who still points at the moon.
