@glcsweb15 @duvall58 I love this tweet, Georgina. You are right, it is authentic and shows the students are loving to read and share their books with each other.
I am so excited about the direction we are moving in SMCISD. Blended Learning will be what we need to give our students the ability to choose their path, their way. I've enjoyed working with this team. Looking forward to today.
Just listened to a powerful podcase on quickwrites. This really makes it easy to implement in our secondary schools. Take a moment and check it out. https://t.co/SFHxWz4DXz
Today I was able to teach a model reading lesson for a kindergarten teacher and her class in Uganda. I love seeing the teacher’s eyes light up when they understand the concepts modeled. I have had a blessed two weeks here with our Books are the Beginning team. Time to go home
Today we went to KareKaren way out in the Budodo district. Last year we built a library there. Today we met with the teachers at Sunrise Primary School. They want us to come train their teachers in reading. These children were so happy to see us. What a blessing.
