Concert Junkie & notorious CrowdSurfer :: trying to keep up with friends, bands, tours, artists & clothing lines :: support local music / support local business
@paladindevops @adtr@NW44@jeremymckinnon@Kevineffinskaff@AlexShelnutt Well, first off - they were within a couple hours driving distance of where it was filmed, in Northern Tennessee
But they answered the casting call and got picked (started driving in that direction before getting an answer, just in case, lol)
Saturday’s setlist
(3 live debuts on top of the 2 singles, featured down-under, and the 2 that have been out for a year or three…SEVEN songs from the new record, ousting Homesick’s five as the dominating material)
@SOTSPodcast got to listen the Mon night before announcement; went in totally blind (besides Miracle & Feedback), so I got to formulate my own opinions w/o outside influence…favorite part is that there’s a few songs that I felt “I had heard before” - they were familiar but still new & fresh
@TedStryker Killer.
Fun story, their label sent an advance copy of the new record to me and my girlfriend - showed up the afternoon before they officially announced it / released it for physical orders.
.@TedStryker taking a trip down memory lane? Lol
[…and if it’s cuz you’ve got @adtr fever - new music on Friday (streaming, at least - physical has been out for 4 weeks already)…maybe give “LeBron” a spin, to celebrate, yeah?]
@stridsfalt@AlexShelnutt Pros and cons to each, of course - but the argument could be made that, while insanely convenient, streaming has its share of cons with respect to how music is consumed in this day and age
@AlexShelnutt Oh, I’m 100% for it all the way - sit down in front of the stereo and *listen * *to* *it*
But I saw one comment that said it was “shiesty” to make people buy it before getting a chance to hear it, like, wtf? 😂🙃
