Reading the news about Sam Altman's dismissal from OpenAI, I was reminded of Steve Jobs being ousted from Apple in 1985.

The board explained that "he was not consistently candid in his communications with the board, hindering its ability to exercise its responsibilities. The board no longer has confidence in his ability to continue leading OpenAI." Despite this, Altman's communication skills and leadership have been overwhelming since his days as head of Y Combinator. I wonder what happened internally.

Will he, like Jobs, "start a new company and then return to a struggling OpenAI after a few years"? Or will he focus on Worldcoin instead?
