this is f**king dangerous.
someone just open sourced an entire library of ready-made JEV skills for building insane AI agent workflows.
instead of building common agent patterns from scratch, you can grab skills for things like:
→ jev-route for routing tasks
→ jev-guardrail for adding checks and verification
→ jev-fanout for running multiple tasks in parallel
→ reusable skills you can plug into your own workflows
the interesting part is that these solve problems you'll run into once your agents start doing more than simple tasks.
you don't have to reinvent routing, verification, or parallel execution every time you build a new workflow.
save this now.
you'll probably need one of these skills the next time you're building an agent and don't want to start from scratch.

GitHub is hiding some absolutely insane stuff...
I spent hours digging through it so you don't have to.
10 repos that feel illegal to know about:
1. https://t.co/lSp3ehxXzz
Paste any TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, or Reddit link and get the raw file back, no watermark, no ad, no login, no app. The thing a hundred scummy downloader sites fake with popups and malware, done clean and open. 39K stars.
2. https://t.co/q4vox4dFpU
Your own private search engine that pulls results from Google, Bing, and 100+ others at once, while tracking nothing and showing zero ads. No profile, no logging, no IP tied to your searches. Google's answers without Google watching you type them.
3. https://t.co/B57eBygDK6
Build, host, and track unlimited professional resumes, completely free and private, while every resume site online paywalls you the second you hit download. Over 800K users, no ads, no data selling. The job-hunt tax, deleted. 30K+ stars.
4. https://t.co/SgInjn6WG4
Watch any web page and get pinged the instant it changes. A price drops, a job posting goes live, a competitor edits their site, concert tickets appear. The monitoring services that charge monthly for this do exactly what this does for free. 25K+ stars.
5. https://t.co/Pe1vVsV4Ud
Publishers pressured the beloved manga app Tachiyomi until its team shut it down. The community turned it into a server you host yourself, thousands of sources on your own machine that no legal letter can reach. They killed the app and woke up the whole ecosystem.
6. https://t.co/cnLWdPKQ12
A translation engine that runs entirely on your own machine, offline, with no Google, no API key, no per-character fee. Feed it text or whole documents in dozens of languages. The thing companies pay Google Translate's API for, sitting on your laptop free. 12K+ stars.
7. https://t.co/rMj8sZiX8O
Download entire galleries, whole accounts, full archives of images from hundreds of sites in one command, with every caption and piece of metadata intact. The bulk archiver people don't realize exists until they need to save something before it vanishes.
8. https://t.co/Oi4AK3swnJ
Point it at any link and it saves a complete, permanent copy, the full page, a PDF, a screenshot, the video, all of it, on your own drive. When the article gets edited or the page 404s later, your copy still opens. Your personal Wayback Machine. 22K+ stars.
9. https://t.co/8gWTZZIXyM
AirDrop for every device. Send files between Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS over your own network with no account, no cloud, no size limit. Apple locked their best version inside their walls. This one works on everything, free.
10. https://t.co/6yjmHQ3S8m
The entire Bitwarden password server rewritten to run on a $5 box, with every paid premium feature unlocked, file attachments, hardware keys, vault health reports, free. Every official Bitwarden app syncs straight to it. The per-seat fee just stopped existing. 59K stars.
Most people will scroll past this and keep paying for all of it.
The ones who bookmark it never go back.
THIS IS F**KING DANGEROUS
FOUND 3 ETHICAL HACKING TOOLS THAT FEELS ILLEGAL TO USE
And it all open source and free to use
If you’re learning pentesting, these belong in your toolkit:
→ Arsenal-ng — a huge terminal library of pentesting commands for recon, scanning, exploitation and more.
→ Pentest-copilot — an AI powered assistant that helps automate exploitation workflows and chain attack steps.
→ Ligolo-ng — lets you tunnel and pivot through a compromised machine to reach systems inside a private network.
Different jobs.
One goal:
make pentesting faster and more efficient.

this is f**king insane.
a solo dev just open sourced a 100% FREE ElevenLabs replacement that runs entirely on your own machine.
the GitHub repo is at 19.4K stars.
it lets you:
→ clone a voice from one clean reference clip
→ dub any video into 646 languages
→ generate audiobooks, dictation, transcription
→ pick from 14 TTS engines instead of one
ElevenLabs supports 32 languages. this does 646.
no per-character billing. no usage caps. no audio ever leaves your computer.
save this for later.

I’ve been playing around with EvoMap’s AutoResearch, trying to see if I could get it to handle some research work for me.
was looking through the repo while it was running and noticed karpathy in the contributors section.
I actually stopped for a second because I wasn’t expecting to see his name there.
So, I started looking more closely at what AutoResearch is doing.
there’s a paper behind it, “Insight In, Hallucination Out” (arXiv 2608.17906), from EvoMap’s Infinite Evolution Lab. it’s also sitting at the top of Hugging Face’s trending papers right now.
I’ve seen a lot of projects call themselves an “AI scientist,” but most seem to do the same thing, one AI comes up with an idea, runs the test, then checks its own work.
AutoResearch takes a different approach.
It gets three different AI models to come up with ideas separately, and then they check each other’s work. there’s also a blind review at the end, so the reviewer doesn’t see the earlier reviews.
what I found interesting is that this isn’t just something they say they do. the setup checks for it.
you assign models to different jobs in the config, like screener, judge, ideator, planner, code reviewer and critic. if two names actually point to the same model, the check fails before you start spending money.
there’s even a “freshness refresher” that updates the plan with newer models, datasets and baselines before the experiment starts.
so you’re not testing your idea against something that’s already two years old.
the part I liked most is that it keeps everything.
the plan, code, test results, what went wrong, the numbers, and the reviews all stay in the project folder.
there’s also an append-only decisions log and a work queue, so you can follow what happened instead of only seeing the final answer.
so, if an experiment fails, you still have the full record. you can stop it, come back later, and continue from where you left off.
it also runs a cheap pilot before the real experiment. based on that result, it can decide whether to scale up, change the plan, or stop and keep the failed result.
that last part stood out to me because most AI agents are built to keep going until they can show you a win.
they even report a Django task from SWE-bench Lite that went from 2/7 on the new feature tests, to 4/7, and eventually 7/7 while keeping all 203 regression tests passing.
you can run it through the Claude Code CLI, start with a small test, and see what happens before letting it go further.
worth saying though, the alpha entrypoint starts Claude Code with permissions skipped. run it in a throwaway box, not the machine holding your keys.
It’s already around 2.2k stars on GitHub.
I started using it because I wanted to see what it could actually do.
then I saw Karpathy’s name and decided to share the whole thing.
WHOEVER BUILT THIS WAS TIRED OF INSTALLING 50 DIFFERENT HACKING TOOLS
Someone turned 183+ penetration testing and OSINT tools into ONE command line toolkit.
—> Recon.
—> Vulnerability scanning.
—> Web app testing.
—> iOS security.
—> OSINT.
All sitting behind a single CLI menu.
Instead of spending hours installing tools, configuring dependencies and jumping between terminals, you can manage the whole stack from one place.
And because it’s open source, you can actually inspect it, modify it and build your own workflows around it.
Cybersecurity students are going to have a field day with this.
Just remember: use it on systems you own or have explicit permission to test.
This is basically a Swiss Army knife for security researchers.

Lost my phone at the office and spent 30 minutes turning the place over. Find My was disabled by MDM.
Out of ideas, I asked Claude how I could find it. It suggested tracking the Bluetooth signal strength, then wrote me a meter in about a minute.
I walked around watching the number climb. Found it.
Apparently you can just make the tool you need now.
