Eid mubarak to all who are celebrating today. For those who were blessed w/ the opportunity to do Hajj this year, Hajj mubarak. Last year, this Eid was a very difficult time for us. This year, I am trying hard not to get stuck in those moments and to celebrate w/ intention.

The Arabic word for "womb" is "rahm" (رحم). The word for "mercy" is "rahma" (رحمة). Same root. Arabic is telling you: the first mercy you ever received was a place that held you before you could hold yourself.
