Adding an aluminum heat sink to the back of the VR and ASIC significantly reduced the temperature during OC! The #Bitaxe can be used at 950MHz(1.94Th/s) on a regular basis(Room temp 28°C, max35°C). And the fan is 1700 rpm. Home #Mining should be quiet.
I love #bitaxe, but too noisy for the living room — and the stock AC adapter felt bigger than the miner. So I designed a silent cooling system that cools both sides and the PSU in a compact setup.
Now I can enjoy quiet #bitcoin mining.
