به عنوان یه ایرانی خارج‌نشین می‌گم:
کاش دیاسپورای ایرانی بیشتر گوش بدن تا نسخه بپیچن. ما وقتی مهاجرت کردیم، زمین بازی و مبارزه رو ترک کردیم—به هر دلیلی. حالا دیگه حق نداریم از دور برای آدمای شجاع داخل نسخه‌ی مبارزه و خطر بپیچیم. سهم ما باید حمایت باشه، نه راهکار تحمیلی.

@hedie_mir @itsimanzh به نظرم این قضیه بیش از پیش نشون میده که ما معمولا تصمیم می‌گیریم از یکی خوشمون بیاد یا نه بعد بر اساس اون تصمیک هر چیزی که مربوط به اون شخص باشه رو تفسیر می‌کنیم. اونایی که ازش خوش‌شون میومد دارن صداقتش رو تحسین می‌کنند و اونایی که خوش‌شون نمیومد بهانه پیدا کردن که بکوبنش.

This is me shortly after arriving in the United States.
It was while my mind was still in the box that the Islamic Republic had placed me in.

This is me before I tried to learn beyond what I was fed before I saw the truth of the situation.

It's when I still believe the propaganda I have been fed since I was a child.
I wholeheartedly supported the Palestinian cause because I assumed it was a matter of human rights.

So you can see that I don't hate Palestinians.

I discovered that the "Free Palestine" movement was not concerned with human rights. If it was, they would see how Hamas has put Palestinians in danger and forced them into a war that has resulted in death and destruction rather than victory.

They would see the ugliness of what Hamas has done to Israelis and Palestinians alike. They would see how the Islamic Republic has started a fire that is destroying the world in 44 years.

I gained a better understanding of history. I learned more about what has been going on around the world and what has been done to the Middle East, as well as who is to blame for our misery, and Israel is not to blame.

Today, I continue to advocate for human rights, which include Jewish people all over the world.
