@heymrsbond So true! I did mostly general ed my first year or so and changed majors. My own children needed to get into their degree programs in year one or they had to do a whole extra year. A change in plans meant several more years.

@anneh222 @jtrebach My dog kept putting his nose on a specific spot on top of my foot, even sniffing through my socks while just hanging out on the couch. It happened many times. Not long after, I had to get a basal carcinoma removed from that exact spot. 😳

@ProfGawain @rebeccamakkai Kentucky too! I taught in a high school where refugees from Burma/Myanmar are settled and we had a population of students who spoke Karen. We had to adapt— find translators, etc.—but they are a wonderful addition to our community!
