He was a rugby player. Strong, athletic, and full of life. If he wanted to fight back, he could have. If he wanted to run, he could have tried. Instead, he chose to explain himself. He chose to walk away. He chose restraint.
Yet not one person in that mob chose humanity. Not one person, “called the police.” Not one person put down a brick. Not one person lowered a stick.
They all watched a Sydney lose his life and did nothing.
No parent should have to see their child reduced to that. Every person responsible must be found and held accountable.
Justice cannot bring him back, but it is the very least that is owed to him, his family, and everyone who has been affected by this tragedy.

🚨 This man here, Rusoke, is the man clearly seen on video mercilessly hitting Sydney Gongodyo with a paver on the head. Sydney was already down, not fighting back, not saying a word, yet this man continued striking him without mercy. This cement block that Rusoke used to hit Sydney on the head is what caused his immediate death.
He should be the next one arrested after Obed Mugwisa.
Such brutality cannot go unpunished. @PoliceUg,
Justice for Sydney!🙏
