No it doesn’t make you a bad person mkoma. In a democracy you have every right to support CAB3 just as others have the right to oppose it. The concern is that while you are free to express your support, your ‘friends’ denied others that same freedom by criminalising, arresting & intimidating those who simply said No to CAB3. I believe the democracy in our constitution should not be tested by how we treat those like you who agreed with bill, but by how we protect the rights of those who disagreed with the bill.

An open letter to Zimbabweans,

There is a growing narrative, amplified by voices such as Matrix Zw suggesting that because the Constitution speaks about term limits, the length of those terms can be quietly adjusted.

This interpretation is misleading.

Zimbabwe’s Constitution is not silent, it is structured. It clearly establishes both the number of terms and the duration of each term. Any change is not a matter of opinion or convenience, it requires a formal constitutional amendment grounded in law and accountability.

We must be careful not to allow technical arguments to weaken fundamental principles. The Constitution exists to limit power, not to be reshaped by it.

If we accept that term length can be extended today, we open the door to further changes tomorrow, changes that may undermine democratic rotation, accountability, and the will of the people.

This is not about personalities or platforms. It is about protecting the integrity of our constitutional order.

Zimbabweans must remain vigilant. The strength of a democracy lies not only in its laws, but in the willingness of its people to defend them.

Power must not adjust the rules to preserve itself. The rules exist to control power.

This is why Zimbabwe is not going to develop. The priorities are warped and selfish. This is the same district which 80% of students failed O Level. They have no schools. We used just $75K to build 2 school blocks at Masibinta and bought books. They had 0% pass rate and now they are around 50% in just 3yrs.

Imagine if the council actually had it's priorities right? It's not just Mnangagwa who is corrupt and selfish, it is pretty much the whole length and breath of the country.

Everyday you hear these stories of pple justifying kleptocracy and selfishness.

🔸The #Warriors are Zimbabwe’s most popular national sporting team. People love football and always want to see Zimbabwe excel on the international sporting stage. It would be extremely sad to see a team so loved by many hijacked by partisan, toxic, narrow, political interests that alienate the masses.

Football must unite, not divide, Zimbabweans. Hopefully, national football administrators will resist what appears to the public as an attempt to capture our national football. Zimbabwe is our country and we want our team to shine, win and boost our national pride.
