Grass clippings and other yard debris are a significant source of storm water pollution. When you blow your lawn waste into the street it can clog the storm drainage system, plug pipes and cause flooding during rain events.
As a young leader, I made the mistake of treating change as if it were an event instead of a process. You can't just announce a change, implement it, and move on. That only causes resistance. You have to give people time and allow them to process changes.
