@Ilegvm i dont get food delivered a lot, I really don’t mind going to pick up my food. Plus DD takes 30% of a businesses profits, so they often raise the prices of everything. When I do get delivery, I always tip at least $10. if the pickup ppl are nice i’ll give them a lil something too

@dantypo minimum wage won’t get you 2 gal of gas. it won’t get you one movie ticket, let alone two. you would have to work hundreds of hours to afford books at the college bookstore. that’s the issue. you can’t work an hour at burger king for $8.75 and then afford to buy a whopper meal.

@sharghzadeh I’ve never seen the word “gauche” before I won’t lie. But based on the sentence, “she wore a silhouette of clothes that were extraordinary, BUT somewhat gauche,” Obviously gauche means something negative. The BUT makes that pretty clear. Schools are failing us.

@MediumSizeMeech I think another big thing that people are ignoring, is that using context clues is a SUPER important part of reading comprehension especially with words you don’t know. Even if you’ve never seen the word “gauche,” based on the context of the statement you should be able to guess.
