@lacyyycs Also, it definitely makes more sense to go with what a community established, instead of what a random Twitter user says.
I've seen their surf maps and skills, and I can confidently say they have no more than 10 hours playing the mode, as they can barely move properly.

What you posted is NOT surfing, it is sliding. Please do not change terms established for over a decade in the movement community to farm engagement and spread misinformation.

@Anxious_EliCS @CStinybaby You partially answered yourself - there's magnet-HEAD surfing, normal HEAD-surfing, airstrafing in 0 gravity or on top of a push trigger, and various different ways. Surfing occurs at an specifically angled surface, what you are describing is just airstrafing.
