The vision activity was useful to brainstorm as a class ideas about what a good school vision looks like. Had a good end to data analysis. Appreciated having the opportunity to rate class assignments.

Great to hear from the author of the textbook we have been using in class. She really gave some insight to some of the different aspects of data analysis that we have been studying this semester.

The principal panel was a great tool to see how data is used in their school. Especially when they spoke to perception data and how it is all used differently.

Finishing the data profiles was helpful to see the full picture of useful data in our schools. Hunches & Hypothesis is a great way to dive deeper into a problem in a school to see why it exists.

Good to review types of data used in a school. Always look at the data that is collected instead of just passing it over. Great practice looking at the data in class tonight.

Enjoyed the interview questions we started off class with. The four corners activity was interesting to see how classmates felt about growth perception in our schools.

Jill Filer had lots of good information to share about how to communicate during a crisis situation where the decisions you make can have major consequences.

Really enjoyed the deep dive into demographics. It’s very interesting to see how demographics differ and change by school. Great conversations in class!

Finding the fine line between compliant and being committed is important neither one is totally negative but can define a school environment and leader.

I know being able to look at data and make appropriate changes throughout your school is important also knowing when not to make changes is just as important. I have not worked with much data beyond my classroom. Looking forward to learning.
