[niko 🇧🇼 @nik0_mcr]

Lots of journos and rival fans saying this result means nothing.

I don't think they understand, or want to. We will be here with our club, with our community, no matter where we end up.

There's convos to be had about the future, owners, & they'll be had. By us, not by yous 👍

[masonb1046 @masonb1046]

@jcherry01 Tbh mate I’ve only seen the goals so I can’t actually comment on the game itself, twitter is in total meltdown though 🤣

[masonb1046 @masonb1046]

@jcherry01 @cainsmithMU I’ll never stop supporting the club, it’s more the game in general mate. It’s too political and it’s just fucked, it’s not about what’s happening on the pitch anymore.

[masonb1046 @masonb1046]

@cainsmithMU @jcherry01 I think the siege mentality was inevitable. Away at Anfield first game back after the break, it couldn’t be anything other than that knowing the reception they’d get. Not gonna be the case for every game.

[masonb1046 @masonb1046]

@cainsmithMU @jcherry01 I’ve been a huge football and City fan my whole life and this situation is seriously questioning whether I can enjoy the sport anymore and that in itself is shit.

[masonb1046 @masonb1046]

@cainsmithMU @jcherry01 The fans care about it more than you think. I know lots of City fans who are finding it very hard to navigate this situation (myself included), people need to stop seeing a few fans on Twitter or at a game and assume that’s most of the fan base.

[masonb1046 @masonb1046]

@jcherry01 I will admit that we may be guilty. Are you seriously implying that the institution that is currently trying to charge us for corruption helped us win that game against Liverpool?

[masonb1046 @masonb1046]

@jcherry01 @cainsmithMU I don’t think Andy Burnham decides the outcome tbh mate.

[masonb1046 @masonb1046]

@jcherry01 I think it’s more of a reaction to the onslaught of hate the club and fans are receiving from rivals. Of course city fans are gonna try and wind you all up because it’s a defence mechanism, clearly it’s working. Smashing Liverpool 3-0 in the wake of all this, brilliant.

[masonb1046 @masonb1046]

@cainsmithMU @jcherry01 If we are found guilty after the appeal after the owners have been telling us so strongly that we’re innocent then yes absolutely. But as a fan of the club I have to trust them until the process is done, you must understand that?

[masonb1046 @masonb1046]

@jcherry01 So are you suggesting we stop backing the club? Delusional if you think that will happen.

[masonb1046 @masonb1046]

@jcherry01 See how the appeal goes first.
