I can hear it now. We did some good things, but it wasn’t enough. No Shane, you played gutless football. I love running JT, he deserves a touch. But play action on 2nd down would have been great. If we could have got it to 4th and 4 instead of 4th and 8, it becomes a manageable 4th down.

Go watch the Denver time clock mismanagement last year. We got bailed out on the field goal penalty or we would have lost that game. He got extremely conservative and mismanaged the clock.

Here same thing, looked like he was trying to play for a tie. If he’s an offensive mastermind, go do that somewhere else. I’d rather lose with someone that’s got some balls.

The Ravens exploited this beautifully. That’s good coaching, they knew how to make this worse. They called plays fast and made it harder to get the play calls in. That’s proper preparation. They embarrassed Steichen and Anarumo. I am glad that they addressed it. Because if they didn’t and the Chiefs exploited, it would be even worse.

But this is coaching. Shane is too focused on the offense. He’s not an offensive coordinator, he’s the coach!
