Hi Dogs of X, my name is Rolo. I hope I can join in and share my new adventures with my new Mum. I am not a full dachshund; Mum thinks maybe there's a bit of beagle in me as well. I am 6. As soon as Mum arrived, I went straight up to her and jumped up to say hello. My human sister said I never do that with strangers used to sit at my hudads or her side until I got used to them, but I have decided Mum thinks I am her person. I will not leave her side. I am bigger and heavier than Mum expected, but she says I am about the size of her only male, Jack, Tyson and she is glad in a way, totally not like Esme but she says she loves me already. The photo of me in the harness was the one Mum saw yesterday and she said she fell in love as soon as she saw me. It is a bit strange and I am a bit stressed. I have been stressed since my dad took ill and have bitten out the hair on my back and tail, but Mum hopes once I am used to being with her I will stop doing that. I am having a doze now, my tummy is full of chicken. Oh, I like having my own garden, never had one before. The rest of my story will follow.
