@Khalid90893299@AnfieldWatch Elliott was firmly a first team player under Klopp. It was Slot who didn't want to use the youngsters and didn't rate Elliott.
@AnfieldWatch No he hasn't. This shit was debunked yesterday. Ornstein said the has been no contact and they are valuing Rio far below what Liverpool does so any move is dead in the water. And if some sources are to be believed, Rio lost all interest in a (temporary) move after Slot's sacking.
@IanDoyleSport I really don't think Barnes is right here. The problem with Slot wasn't the results, it was the absolutely abysmal style of play. The players got lazy and the tempo was slow. The team never looked like they could turn it around. We're within our right to be sick of it.
@Lady_Ella042@ESPNUK No. He won the title Liverpool fans wanted. We have 6 UCLs already, missing out it's that big of a deal like it is for clubs that have never won it. You'll never know how it feels to win 6 UCL, let alone 1.
@AnfieldWatch Not really. It would have been nice to get money from him but I definitely didn't want him to stay so can't really be mad that he goes to some other club. With Leoni and Jacquet in the squad, I promise you, Ibou won't be missed.
@afcbpodcast It is a risk with him not winning anything or having European experience. But everyone have to start somewhere. Experienced winners don't just spawn out of nowhere.
I've liked watching Bournemouth play under Iraola so I'm cautiously optimistic about his appointment.
@d0tspixel@ESPNUK There were many these sorts of things during Klopp's time at Liverpool. "This happened like this XX years ago and it's happening again".
Also, the post isn't a "conspiracy theory", it's called "historical recurrence".
@Lady_Ella042@ESPNUK Everyone said the same about Slot and he just went and won the PL. Say what you will about Slot this season, I certainly have, but that doesn't take away the fact that he won Liverpool to league title with the same squad that finished 3rd the year prior.
@AbamaThomas@MelissaReddy_ His football was a mix of Klopp and Pep. It was a high press football with emphasis on short quick passing to get up the field. That's what he showed at Feyenoord and to a certain extent during his 1st season. The second season was a mess cause of multiple factors, not just Slot
@indykaila@LFC@ChampionsLeague How is it not beneficial for LFC? It's not like they need some huge PR campaign to announce a sacking. Arsenal's media team are just butthurt that Liverpool doing anything is bigger news than them playing in a CL final.
@DennisDynamiite@indykaila@talkSPORT They were miles closer to a trophy than you'll ever be so by your logic, they're allowed to talk more about football than you are so pipe down.
