Thank you all for joining us in ringing in the first month of this year. Kristen and Grace thoroughly enjoyed spending time and learning with all of you throughout this month.
Did you know? In 1988, the Future Farmers of America changed its name to the National FFA Organization to reflect the growing diversity in agriculture. This paved the way for increased events and opportunities for FFA members across the nation.
Did you know? In 1969, national membership was officially opened to females, making holding office and participation in competitive events possible. But did you also know that Massachusetts has always allowed female membership, even when revoking our charter was threatened?
Did you know? National blue & corn gold were adopted as official FFA colors at the 2nd National Convention in 1929. There were 35 state associations and 30,000 members in the national organization. MA was still two years away from receiving our official charter.
