@Jamienaut@RoytaMustDie It's the sixth gen in general. Dreamcast, PS2 and GameCube were all doing weird things with their graphics chips that are hard (but not impossible) to replicate on modern GPUs. Even the Xbox has issues when its games are ported despite it being just a normal ass PC

@NoponDigi The Wild games, because they insist on giving you everything at the start, lose that. I get that it would impact the non-linearity they're going for, but I think if they put the runes in the dungeons (and designed the dungeons around them), both games would be infinitely better
@NoponDigi The reason I hate it (and BotW by extension) is because it has zero feeling of progression. In literally every other Zelda game, you'll go through the overworld and see stuff that you can't get because you don't have the tools. Come back later and WOW! I can get that now! (1/2)
@tek_sauce@jchensor One failure doesn't mean that the whole concept is bad. The CvS franchise was successful enough to keep the first iteration of SNK afloat for a few more years
