Somethingâs brewing đ
A whale sold ~$10k $U1, then added ~$20k liquidity on Meteora, repositioning, not exiting.
At the same time, a $Pippin whale is rotating capital into Umbrea ($U1).
Liquidity + rotation before hype.
Watching closely. đ§
Just a thought, sharing something interesting I recently came across.
Lately, my attention has been drawn to $U1 @Umbrae_Ignis , a project building DLMM (Dynamic Liquidity Market Making) for @solana and EVM chains.
That curiosity pushed me to go deeper into AMMs vs DLMMs, and honestly, itâs surprising how few projects are actually working on this advanced version of market making.
Letâs break this down step by step.
Understanding AMM (Automated Market Maker)
In a traditional AMM:
â˘When you provide liquidity, your funds are spread across the entire price range in a fixed ratio.
â˘You earn fees only if price stays within that active range.
But this model has some fundamental inefficiencies:
https://t.co/ta6bg4bFax inefficiency
Most of the liquidity you provide is never used.
Only liquidity near the current price actually earns fees.
2.High impermanent loss risk
If price moves sharply (which crypto does), LPs suffer.
3.Higher slippage
Slippage discourages large trades â lower volume â less institutional interest.
End result?
Lower capital efficiency, lower volumes, and limited appeal for serious liquidity providers.
Enter DLMM (Dynamic Liquidity Market Making)
DLMM is essentially an evolution of AMM design.
Instead of spreading liquidity everywhere:
â˘Liquidity is organized into bins
â˘These bins are concentrated at or near the market price
â˘Liquidity moves dynamically with price, instead of staying static
What this changes fundamentally:
â˘Near-zero slippage
â˘Much higher capital efficiency
â˘Better yields on deployed liquidity
â˘Lower fees per trade
â˘Deeper liquidity exactly where itâs needed
This naturally leads to:
â˘More trader interest
â˘Higher volumes
â˘And most importantly institutional-grade liquidity infrastructure
Whoâs Building This?
â˘@MeteoraAG (on solana) is already actively working on DLMM
â˘U1 is building a DLMM solution for Solana + EVM, with their product expected around Q1 2026
Given how critical volatility management, slippage reduction, and capital efficiency are for the next phase of DeFi, this is a narrative worth tracking closely.
Final Thought
DLMM isnât just a minor upgrade
itâs a structural improvement to how on-chain liquidity works.
If DeFi wants:
â˘Institutional participation
â˘Sustainable LP yields
â˘Deep, efficient markets
Static AMMs wonât be enough.
#DLMM might be one of the key primitives of the next cycle.
đ Keeping $U1 and this narrative firmly on my watchlist.
Market Update â 3D Bullish Crossover Watch
Once again, we are approaching a potential 3-day bullish crossover as per our strategy. Historically, when this crossover appears, bearish news whether small or big, tends to have limited impact, while bullish news usually creates a stronger upside reaction in the market.
đ Bitcoin is holding the 200 EMA strongly, which is a major bullish structure confirmation. As long as BTC sustains above this level, the next major upside target remains đ $100K+ in the near term.
đ Tomorrowâs FOMC meeting is the key macro trigger. The market is now actively pricing in a possible 25 bps rate cut, which, if confirmed, can act as a strong bullish catalyst for risk assets like crypto.
From here, keep a close eye on:
â˘News flow
â˘Economic events
â˘Real-time market reaction
â ď¸ Important Reminder:
- Wait for proper confirmation
- Avoid emotional entries
- Trade with patience, discipline, and faith in the setup
Let the market confirm the move first. The trend will reward patience. â
expecting something similar if not exactly same..technically, this would be a deviation(the way it happened at 74k~)
which means 102k remains the local bottom and any wick below that let's say 97k-98k would just be a deviation
this pattern can been spotted multiple times right from 15k bear market bottom till now
all in all i expect december and january bullish for $btc and crypto in general(including selective alts)
